John Deere PowerTech E Tier 3/Stage III A engines are available in 2.4L, 3.0L, 4.5L and 6.8L displacements, with a power range of 45 kW - 149 kW (60 hp - 200 hp).

• Incorporate a high-pressure common-rail fuel system (4.5L and 6.8L), electronic unit pump fuel system (2.4L and 3.0L), full-authority electronic controls, a multiple injection strategy (4.5L and 6.8L) and all the performance of Tier 2/Stage II engines and more.
• Feature maintained or improved peak torque, low-speed torque and transient-response time, as well as a price similar to Tier 2/Stage II engines.
