Kohler Power Systems expands its generator product line to include auxiliary power units (APU) for the heavy-duty trucking industry. The Kohler 3APU-HC is in production and available for through Kohler dealers and distributors. The new 3APU-HC offers OEMs, fleets and and owner/operators an economical and compact APU that supplies 55 amps of DC power. The Kohler product also comes equipped with separate space-saving evaporator and condenser components, providing an air-conditioning capacity of 12,000 BTU/hour and 10,000 BTU/hour of heating.

• Measures 15in. W x 24 in. H x 28 in. D and weighs less than 240 lbs
• Powered by an air-cooled, 4.7 hp single-cylinder Kohler diesel engine
• Separate evaporator uses four airflow cups to distribute heating and cooling evenly throughout the cabin
• Control allows complete in-cab start/stop and heating/cooling adjustments
